wherein you will find ramblings about fiber dyeing, spinning, knitting,... and photos (sometimes), family and friend updates, rants when i need to, lack of upper case letters, weird punctuation and freedom of expression (especially mine)! To answer the question of where did it come from... this "twisted mom/twisted sandy" thing. ...during the 90's a group of my spinning students became spinning friends, which morphed into Twisted Sisters, which evolved into calling me the Twisted Mom.

merino/bamboo fiber
this is the merino/bamboo top i recently dyed. if you look closely, you'll see the shiny streaky places where the bamboo doesn't take the acid dyes. i think it will look more blended in after it is spun.
